Final week of Rehearsal

This week was good. I have made great strides in my development. I know when to use my beats and props together I have gotten better with my projection. I am also very much clear now of my objective. I am using my body more with the props. I have learned how to emphasize more with my words rather than my hands I am nervous but more confident than before on my performance. I am just praying I don't stumble on show day.

Week 9

This week was a challenging week. I have been battling illnesses secretly and trying to maintain my coursework. I have memorized half of the monologue already. The rehearsal process is going good. Tonya is a good person to work with as well. I have been trying to incorporate all of the techninques I have been learning from the readings into the actual work. I finally learned what a beat is and I am able to apply that to this script and analyze it more in depth. I also am learning how not to over think what I am seeing but take it for exactly what it is saying and apply it. I tried to upload my assignment to D2L but was having issues with the computer so I have to wait until I get to another computer with a harddrive and try to upload it or I will have to submit it by hard copy.

Week 8

I learned from this exercise to always rehearse any free time that I may get should be dedicated to the craft. I learned that I have to truly follow the rules of always saying yes when working with others. I learned that the technique actually works and helps the scene to keep flowing even if someone messes up. I didn't mind the feedback from the audience it did wake up my drive to totally improve and show what I am made of. I learned for future assignments that you have to be focused and develop the character and scene as much as you can. The more you relate to the actual scene the easier it will be to remember lines as well as act out the proper actions to convey the story with true authenticity.

Week 7

I honestly thought I posted this one I do remember reading and answering the questions on paper.
My rehearsals were good when I actually made it. I will say Tasi is a very bright and eager learner as well as dedicated. I hindered our performance by being unable to attend rehearsal and give 100% of my effort to the scene.
