week 6

This is quite challenging I am not sure if I know exactly what the beat is and how to identify it. I have been doing my best to apply the readings to the material and the exercises but I am pretty sure I don't have it down and trying to memorize this script is hectic.

Week 5

I the readings have come in handy very well. I have learned how to further investigate a script and develop my character. I have learned how to apply these things to the script and analyze everything being presented in front of me overall I am learning so much it is making this more and more exciting by the day.

Week 4

Playing Rhonda Louise is already becoming very fun Tasi and I are great together and we are working to make time to create the characters better I cannot wait to see how this develops it is very exciting

Week 3

I thought my character was very interesting in the fact that he was a money launder and that was his deep secret I like how he was able to have basically two lives and that was fun to play with. I was very worried about playing a tall person because I am so short but I was able to channel it and that was excititng. I also learned how to apply the lessons by letting go and letting the character take control

Week 1

Good acting is the abiltity to totally surrender yourself to the person that you need to become the ability to just totally be free and uninhibited is amazing in itself. I have only worked in a church play I have done some background work. I would love to work on as many as possible to hone in on my craft. I would like you to teach me everything there is to know and how to make me a better actress overall.

My time in Class Week 2

The physical life assignment provided a whole new level of tools in preparedness and awareness. I learned how to literally forget everything that is normal to me and be possessed by a total stranger in order to convey their true emotion. I loved that it gave me some sort of checklist to use in the future when preparing for a role. In life I can use it to be aware of the character key traits that gives them so much more life than just trying to tell their story with words it opened the door for me to tell their story with true and raw actions.
